Family Secrets Bakery has been an idea for a very long time.
It originally started taking root when my sister and I used the 'secret' cookie recipe
to earn extra money around the holidays while growing up in Louisiana. In 1988 I used
the recipe to earn money for a school sponsored trip. Baking 23 dozen cookies a night
for a week was a lot of work but it paid off.

Over the years many friends, family members and customers mentioned selling
the cookies and for the longest time that thought was stuck on the back burner.
Finally our dream has become a reality. We have officially been in business since
June 2008.

Our mission is to provide you with a tasty homemade product that is free of preservatives
and is a product that will bring back cherished memories while creating new ones.
We hope that our products will become some of your favorites.
