My grandmother would make this cake and would add pecans to the filling/frosting. I love it both ways with or without the pecans but I'm keeping this one traditional. The filling/frosting has coconut and pecans in it. If you would rather not want the pecans in your frosting/filling, just let us know when you order. It is a very rich 3 layer chocolate cake so make sure to have a glass of milk with it to help wash it down.
