A perfect blend of sweet and spice.
I've always loved cinnamon. The spicy smell reminds me of my grandmother's kitchen. I love cinnamon on my hot chocolate, on my apple sauce, in my tea, and even on my watermelon. Yes, watermelon. I decided to try the recipe with just ground cinnamon added to it, no chocolate chips. My husband described it as a perfect blend of sweet and spice. Now the oatmeal cookie has cinnamon chips instead of just ground cinnamon added to it. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite cookies.
